Hapalopilus nidulans
This polypore mushroom is fleshy and pliable when young and exhibits
brownish-orange/cinnamon coloration on the cap and pore surface. Pores
are angular, not circular. Grows from decaying wood summer through fall.
White spore print.
Purple reaction to ammonia or KOH.
