INDIANA MUSHROOMS
Paecilomyces tenuipes
Isaria tenuipes is a synonym. Found in September
growing from a bed of moss along a hiking trail.  This
is an anamorph (asexual reproductive stage) of a
Cordyceps fungus that has infected a Lepidoptera
(moth or butterfly) pupa.
