| This collection of Tricholoma myomyces shows the color variations of the caps at different stages of maturity. Caps usually have a white margin. Gills white when young, gray with age. Found with pine trees in November. Unlike many Tricholoma species, this one is rather small (1-2.5 inch cap) and fragile (cap and stem break easily). |
